Factors Influencing Career Choice among Business Administration Students of Pokhara University

Career development theories imply that various factors might influence students' career choices. The study examined the existent influencing choice among business administration students of Pokhara University. A quantitative paradigm guided study. purposive sample 303 undergraduate and postgraduate participated in data was collected using Choice Scale (CCS), which looked at four components choice: intrinsic, extrinsic, interpersonal, institutional influences. analysis performed with SPSS Amos. results demonstrated factors, intrinsic such as personal interest, advancement career, personality traits; extrinsic prestigious job, well-paying employment, job security; interpersonal parental support influence, older siblings peer counseling activities, teachers educators’ impact; type academic program offered were found influential factors. findings may have implications for Nepalese higher education institutions to guide counsel interested a management.
